Located on one of Charlotte’s beautiful golf courses, this home was inspired by a Lutyen’s design “Little Thakeham” when I traveled to England to study this house. This home provides a feeling of grandeur with its long main ridge line and elements of symmetry.

Located on a double lot in Charlotte’s historic Myers Park neighborhood. Another transformation saving a piece of history, but preserving the classic beauty and spaces, but adding the missing elements for today’s lifestyle, such as an attached garage, newly added open-space living kitchen dinning, covered loggia.

Located on a 100-acre Equestrian Ranch about an hour from Charlotte, makes this the perfect setting for a modern home surround by nature and a simple country life style. This opportunity came after a 7-year study in modern architecture. For 7-years I attended the Reinvention Conference, sponsored by Architect Magazine. This allowed me to attend lectures and tour designs of the best modern architects in the country. Here I share my first modern home design.

My inspiration for this transformation came from architect John Russell Pope’s Meridian house in DC. This helped me transform the ordinary Eastover home into a sophisticated Neoclassical style that reflects the character and lifestyle of the owners.

This transformation was inspired by the owner’s European ancestry and their love for the Baroque and the Neoclassical style architecture. I traveled to Paris and then to Versailles to study Versailles Palace and the Petit Trianon to get an education on the 18th century Neoclassical movement. This helped me develop the skill to design this classical house with accuracy in proportion, scale and symmetry.

Another Eastover neighborhood transformation saving a piece of history, this redux focused on preserving the original house due to it charming one of a kind chippyed brick finish. We designed an open-space living kitchen dinning, covered loggia. Then later added a detached 2-car garage with guest suite.
